Founded in 2016 by Corinna and Simon, from a kitchen table and a straightforward irritation: almost nothing on the collagen shelf said what was actually in it.
The founder story
It started because the labels did not add up
Corinna and Simon were buyers long before they were sellers. They went looking for a collagen they could take daily, read the labels, and kept finding the same thing: a long ingredients list, a big number on the front, and no way to check any of it.
So they went to the manufacturer with the best quality record they could find, paid more than they wanted to, and put one ingredient in the tub. Ten years on that is still the whole proposition.

People who read the back of the pack
Our customers tend to arrive already sceptical. They have tried something that promised a lot, and they would rather have a specification than a slogan.
They are also not who the category assumes. A growing share are men, and a growing share are in their twenties and thirties, which is why we have stopped writing as though everyone reading is the same person.
How it is made
Two sources, both named
Bovine collagen comes from cattle. Marine collagen comes from the skin of fish. Both are broken down with enzymes and water rather than chemical solvents, which is what makes the peptides small enough to absorb easily.
Every batch is made on site, tracked, and audited, and every tub carries the batch code to prove it.
